Happy 2nd Birthday Baby!

Our baby is just a beautiful miracle. Is such a blessing to celebrate his 2nd birthday.

I was diagnosed with a desmoid tumor six years ago. This type of tumor is non cancerous but it destroys your organs entrapping them with its fibers and squeezes them until you feel constant pain in that part of your body.


The radiologist suggested radiotherapy for 28 days, the doctor also told me that I was not able to have a baby since the radiotherapy burns your ovaries and eggs. The news were devastating, because deep inside... I wanted to have another baby. I always wanted to have 3 babies. The doctor was surprise when the tumor started to expand instead of shrinking. My second treatment was to remove my ovaries, long intestines, rectum and bladder. The doctor suggested I needed to live with a Colostomy bag and a Urostomy bag for the rest of my life. Not happy with this!


My Father-in-Law helped me to find a second opinion and we found Dr. Ndubisi. He took my case, he prescribed me a chemotherapy treatment called Doxil, and with lots of Prayer my tumor started to shrink.


God is amazing! My prayer always is to see my children grow old and the Lord is giving me a second chance in life to see that happening.

After radiotherapy and chemotherapy behind me I was left with a premature menopause, which my DH was struggling to manage. I was not the same, but I love God MORE with all my heart because I was alive.


With radiotherapy comes the absence of your period, so I didn't have my period for 2 years. My DH and I decided to move to another town to experience small town life.

We found a town and we settled in. I only had my period for one month after we move and I was thinking it was because I was helping my DH to move appliances around.

For some reason I had a curiosity to know how my hormones levels were for being menopausal. The pharmacy sells a kit that lets you know. Is just like a pregnancy test but instead of telling you that you are pregnant, it will let you know that you have Menopause!

The menopause kit deliver the news that was not having menopause episodes. This kit also suggested that it would not hurt to have a pregnancy test done and then talk to your physician.

I went to the pharmacy and I was even kidding myself while buying a pregnancy test, since I only had my period in August.

God is awesome!! I had the pregnancy test done and to my surprise the two lines that lets you know you are expecting were bright and fast. I could not believe my eyes.

The human part tells you... Are you able to have this baby? Are you able to carry this baby full term because of the radiotherapy damaging your ovaries and your uterus? The Lord gave us peace in our hearts after prayer.

Eight months later, he was born, just handsome and cute.

I am so excited that he is two years old. Our lives are blessed with our children. Praise the Lord for His mercy and love.
