Annual Portraits!

Is that time of the year again to take my babes to get photographed.  I feel like I am doing this event in such a rush, because I have several things going on this month.

Several events that are happening this month are: a surgery that my DH is going to have because he has kidney stones, my sister is visiting, a lot of doctors and dentist appointments and a Children's Musical hosted in our Church in which my middle babe will be participating.

It was weird not having our usual photographer but the evening photographer was a delight and she tried to make the session fun and different.

My oldest babe looks so big.  Big in the sense that she looks like a total teenager even though she is not completely in her teens yet.

My middle babe looks so tall, love her long hair (which she wants cut like yesterday) and her love of pink clothes still in her.  It was awesome that she asked me for lipstick which ended up in her sister’s shirt while the lady was taking pictures.

My youngest babe was a ham.  He loves the camera and this occasion was not an exception, but it was funny that in the last picture he told me: “I am done”; and he was.  He refused to do anymore pictures.

I love my babes.  I love taking pictures of them.  I love creating memories with them.

Yahoo!

I am excited that youngest baby is going to be 4 years old this Saturday. He is more aware of his birthday and he is also excited that we are singing “Happy Birthday” at Church for him.

He has grown so much, he talks more and he is aware of the World.

My girls are going to school today!!

Cynthia and Stephanie are going to different schools for the first time. Cynthia is going to Middle school and Stephie is going to be a new student in an elementary that is near us.

It's so weird when your oldest child goes to middle school and all inside me gets concerned with the new challenges she might face. Who might be her new friends? Is she going to adapt quickly to changes.

For Stephanie is hard for me since I love the old school she used to attend. Is no longer in our area so I will have to adjust to her being in a new school. Worried that she might be teased or bullied by other classmates who do not understand her personality.
Besides that, I am looking forward to new homework folders and picking up the girls at different hours of the day!
